Our Team
The Board of Directors of Mercy Force have been involved in Christian service and outreach to Southeast Asia for many years. Our Board members serve as unpaid volunteers and receive no compensation for their services.
- Steve Bailey is a retired Aerospace Engineer and currently serves as a Chaplain for the Billy Graham Evangelical Association Rapid Response Team and Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. He is an ordained pastor and has been involved in international missions and relief work since 1999.
- Annie Snowbarger is a international business executive and organizational effectiveness consultant. Since 2001, she has been active in short-term outreaches to Thailand and Cambodia.
- Patty Hedges serves Mercy Force in finance and accounting. Patty spent 15 years as an accountant in St. Louis and San Diego. She served as administrator of Christian Happy Home Poipet from 2008 – 2012. She is currently a nurse and lives in Bend, OR.
- Wayne Gordon is a retired IT business professional with more than 30 years of experience in that field. Wayne also has over 20 years of leadership experience in church missions and is currently the CFO for an international non-profit organization.
Mercy Force engages a Program Director to provide consistent oversight and leadership for our projects in Southeast Asia.
- Rose Martinez is the founder of Mercy Ministries Foundation and has been serving the Lord in Southeast Asia since 1980. Her extensive knowledge of Southeast Asia and years of experience in Christian service are invaluable to the ongoing work of Mercy Force.
Mercy Force also relies on services of many unpaid volunteers, who have a heart for Southeast Asia, to assist in areas such as bookkeeping, website development, donor correspondence, and various other areas as needed.
